The Bochum Polarised Target group is examing the possibility of an HD solid polarized target. Since brute force polarisation is not possible with the given laboratory infrastructure and has very long build up times, the way of dynamical polarisation has been chosen. A 90-Sr beta source to create paramagnetic centers has been employed. Bolometric EPR measurements show the suitability of the source. Polarization could not be measured yet because of isotopic impurities inside the material, which shorten nuclear relaxation times.
