We have over the last several years refined our nuclearstructure models and are now generating new data bases for1) nuclear masses, 2) beta decay,3) fission barriers, and 4) nuclear shape isomers. I will present1) our new mass table in which we take into account the effect of axial asymmetry on the ground state mass. We study how reliable the old mass table has proven to be when compared to masses measured after its publication and how the new mass table agrees with the 2003 Audi experimental mass evaluation.2) a new calculation of beta decay rates and Pn values with Q values from the new Audi 2003 evaluation when available, otherwise from our new mass table3) our calculation of fission barriers for 5254 nuclei from A=170 to A=330. For each nucleus we calculate the fission potential energy for more than 5000000 different shapes. The saddles and fission modes are extracted from the five-dimensional potential-energy surface by imaginary water flow techniques.4) our calculation of the occurence of low-lying shape isomers for nuclei throughout the nuclear chart. We present the main features of our results and compare to experimental observations of low-lying 0+ states in even-even nuclei.Very recently we have started to use the new data bases in astrophysicalr-process studies. First implications of such studies will be presented.
