Systematic properties of Pygmy resonance of neutron-rich nuclei

I show strength functions and transition densities of even-evenmedium-heavy nuclei upto neutron drip line calculated using quasiparticle random-phaseapproximation for a fewJ^\pi channels. Growth of transition strength is predicted in alow-energy region (Pygmyresonance) as neutron number N approaches the neutron drip line. Threeproperties arediscussed systematically: Enhancement of Pygmy resonance after magicnumbers,relation between the strength of Pygmy resonance and radius of groundstate, andemitted neutron number obtained from excited-state density distribution.
